Kims Adolescence and Early Adulthood: Kim, a 34 year old individual living in Northern California, has been make-up artists for around 14 years. Since Kim was 17 years old, she has been suffering from Bulimia Nervosa as she binges and purges various times on a daily basis. Due to the condition, Kim has also been using laxatives and diuretics as a means of removing any food or drinks she has consumed. While Kim makes other women to look and feel beautiful daily, she is seemingly unable to mask the ugliness she feels regarding herself. This has largely been because of feelings of loneliness, increased worrying, frequent mood swings, thoughts about food, and acts of obsession. Kim doesnt feel precious of eating foods and usually feels depressed to an extent that she does not consider life as worth living any longer. Consequently, she keeps complaining of severe headaches, dizzy periods, nauseated, and losing her balance every day. In addition to being disgusted at the sight of food, Kim is afraid to binge eat before people for fear that they will know of lack of personal control. Kims condition led to her being recently fired from her work as a make-up artist because of lack of strength and falling sick 4 times in two weeks.
